Our Mission & Vision
We are a grassroots movement to create a Bangladeshi-American voting bloc in NYC to elect political candidates and advocate for legislation that protects and advances the well-being of working-class and low-income communities. We do this by educating our community about the political process; increasing electoral participation; and forming alliances with other progressive organizations.
Our Goals
Increase political participation among Bangladeshis
Create progressive Bangladeshi voting bloc to elect progressive political candidates and pass progressive legislation
Educate Bangladeshis about the political process and civic engagement
Form alliances with membership-based Bangladeshi groups, other South Asian groups, and progressive organizations in general
Form alliances with Bangladeshi-owned businesses
